Rella (Lafferty) Michels

Rella (Lafferty) Michels, age 73, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016, at the Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.
She was born in Mt. Gilard, Ohio, and was a daughter of the late Cassel and Martha Bailey.
Mrs. Michels was retired from International Mineral Corporation, Lithia, FL, and was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She enjoyed fishing and was a loving grandmother, mother and wife.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Michels of the home; her son, Jeffrey Lafferty (Jane) of Port Charlotte, FL; her daughter, Stacy White (Thomas) of Waterloo; three step-sons, Phillip Michels (Bonnie) of Taylor, MI, Joseph Michels (Linda) of Westland, MI, and Paul Michels (Peggy) of Welford, SC; a sister, Alice Gilroy (Ronald) of Lima, OH; seven grandchildren, Shawn Gamble, Brett White, Sydney Lafferty, Loreal Michels, Jaye Michels, Laura Michels, and Daniel Michels; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Michels was predeased by two brothers, Alden Bailey and Harold Bailey, and her first husband, Harless Lafferty.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 31st, at 3:00 PM, at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Laurens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Stacy White, 8497 Indian Mound Road, Waterloo.
