Rev. James F. Entrekin
Rev. James F. Entrekin, 86, born Dec. 3, 1924 died Thursday, September 29th peacefully at his home in Easley, S.C.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice B. Entrekin and Joey Price Jr. of the home. Also surviving are a brother, Paul (Ernestine) Entrekin; two sisters, Irene (HB) Doyle and Shelby Jean (James) Kelley all of Anderson; five children, Mike (Sue) Entrekin, Robin (Cynthia) Entrekin, Tim (Donna) Entrekin, Rev. Mark (Janet) Entrekin and Faith (Mike) Marusich, Brenda (Jerome) Stewart of Easley and Rev. James Mitchell Brewer, Jr. (Jan) of Toledo, Ohio. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rev. Entrekin was a graduate of Holmes Bible College and was the former Pastor of the Clinton First Pentecostal Holiness Church and a retired minister of the Upper South Carolina Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church having served for 53 year and was a Veteran of WWII.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in the Clinton First Pentecostal Holiness Church with interment at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of his son, Rev. Mark Entrekin, 1738 Wilson Dr., Laurens, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, 403 Academy St., Clinton, SC 29325.
