Richard Wayne Cooper, 69, of 400 Caldwell Street passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Whitmire, S.C. and was a son of Jessie Tankersley Cooper and the late John Thomas Cooper.
Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, Marilyn Stevenson Cooper; two sons, John Cooper (Shelby) of Clinton and Richard Wayne Cooper, Jr. of Fayetteville, AR; a daughter, Dawn Cooper Brewer (Robert) of Emminance, MO; a sister, Reba Cooper Hayes (Bill) of Augusta, GA; two nephews, Max Hayes and Grant Hayes; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 17th at 4:00 pm at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton.
The family will received friends on Sunday before the service from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
