Richard Earl "Shorty" Tinsley

Richard Earl “Shorty’ Tinsley age 81 and widower of Samiline Tinsley passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024 at his home.
He was born Laurens County on March 14, 1943 and was son of the late Jim and Mozelle Patterson Tinsley.
Mr. Tinsley retired from Clinton Mills and after his retirement from the mill he worked at Presbyterian College. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church. Shorty enjoyed woodworking and loved spending time with his family and eating hot dogs.
Surviving are his grandchildren, Angel Tinsley, Danny Tinsley and Michael Tinsley all of the home.
In addition to his parents and wife he was predeceased by his only child, Ricky Tinsley.
A memorial service to remember the life of Mr. Tinsley will be held at a later date.
