Richard Donald Foster

Richard Donald Foster, age 86, of 602 N. Adair St. died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Hospice of Laurens County.
He was born in Gastonia, NC and was a son of the late Samuel Columbus and Bessie Primm Foster.
Mr. Foster retired from Metropolitian Life Insurance Company after 20 years of service. He then worked at Jacobs Press for several years and for a short time at Industrial Supply. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Myrtice Wilkes Foster of the home; one daughter, Kathy Foster Brown of Greenville; one brother, Harvey L. Foster; two sisters, Dorothy Trammell and Mrs. Richard (Martha) Watts all of Clinton.
He was predeceased by five brothers, Charles, Harry, Paul, Lloyd R. and Hoyle Foster and a sister, Laura Burns.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, Mar. 1st at 2:00 p.m. at the Rosemont Cemetery by Rev. Dr. Jim Dubose
The family will receive friends after the graveside service at the cemetery.
