Ricky Owens, age 48 of 2689 Sandy Run Creek Rd. died Wednesday, February 2, 2011.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late John Calvin and Margaret Lyons Owens.
Surviving are his former wife, Sheila Owens of Clinton, one sister, Jessie Jacks and husband, Johnny of Joanna and one brother, Keith Owens and wife, Gloria of Kinards; and three special nieces and nephew, and his beloved canine companion, Rex.
Graveside service will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 5th at 11:00 a.m. in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Shelby Deitz, P.O. Box 481, Clinton, SC 29325 or ASPCA, 520 8th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018.
The family will be at the home of his sister, Jessie Jacks, 206 Blalock Dr., Joanna, SC.
