Rilla Dean Timmerman Moates

Rilla Dean “Deanie” Moates, age 62, of 612 Whitten Rd. died Monday, May 7, 2012 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Laurens and was the daughter of the late Jesse Paschal and Rilla Dean Timmerman.
Mrs. Moates was an employee of the Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center.
She is survived by her husband, Benjamin A. “Tony” Moates of the home; two sons, Michael Scott Morgan and Christopher A. Moates both of Clinton; a daughter, Angela Joyce “Joy” Edwards of Clinton; a sister, Maureen Joyce of Greenwood; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with interment in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
