Rita M. Stewart, 70, wife of Leonard "Lynn" Stewart, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at her home in Cross Hill, SC.
Born July 10, 1951 in Loretto, KY., she was a daughter of the late Joseph Patrick and the late Catherine Young Murphy.
She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church of Clinton.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stewart is survived by her son, David E. Stewart; her daughter, Angela "Angie" Durham; brothers, JR "Jake" Murphy, Gerald Murphy, and Kenny "Fudge" Murphy; sisters, Patsy Miles, and Charlotte Hill; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
No services are being planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, 505 Calvert Avenue, Clinton, SC 29325, or Hejaz Shriner's Temple, PO Box 3668, Greenville, SC 29608.
Gray Funeral Home of Clinton is assisting the family.
