Rita Farrell Hairston

Rita P. Hairston age 80, of 420 West Farley Avenue, Laurens died on Thursday March 6th.
Mrs. Hairston was born in St. Johns NFLD, Canada and she was the wife of the late Charles L. Hairston. She and her husband moved to Clinton in 1969 after his retirement from the U.S. Navy.
Mrs. Hairston is survived by two sons, Charles Michael Hairston and wife Michelle of Greenville, NC, and James Glenn Hairston of Houston, TX; two daughters, Susan H. Harmon and husband Gene of Laurens, and Laurie Ann Hartman and husband Wade of Rogers, AR; eight grandchildren, Miranda H. Dunn and husband Anthony, Kimberly Hairston, Joseph Harmon, Cole Hairston, Logan Hairston, Dylan Hairston, Baylee Hartman, and Cooper Hartman; and one great grandson Michael Anthony Dunn; a brother, Michael Farrell; three sisters, Katherine Walsh, Teresa Coady and Gertrude Tobin all of St. Johns, Newfoundland.
She was predeceased by four brothers and seven sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 1:00 p.m. in the Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton officiated by Rev. John Lopez with visitation immediately following the service.
