Robert F. Els

Robert F. Revels, age 86, of 95 Tidmarsh Drive, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Lockhart, SC and was a son of the late Robert Fulton and Ollie Mae Barnette Revels. He was a former employee of JP Stevens, he was the owner of Revels Auction, he was also a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing and being with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Louise Jones Revels of the home; his two sons, Bobby Revels (Celeste) of Heath Springs, SC and Marshall Revels of Whitmire; his three daughters, Linda Jennings (Robbie) of Whitmire, Rita Mullins of Whitmire, and Rhonda Knight (James) of Camden; and was blessed with twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his daughter, Becky Mars and a granddaughter, Melissa Mars Hood.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2 PM at the Pine Ridge Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 6104 Whitmire Hwy, Whitmire, SC 29178.
