Robert Anthony Marler, age 48 of 105 Clemson St. died Monday, March 28, 2011 at his home.
He was born in Greenwood, SC and was a son of Edna Robinson Queen of Laurens and the late William Charles Marler.
Mr. Marler was a former employee of B. F. Shaw Company and was a member of the Bellview Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Cynthia Rice Marler of the home; one son, Robert Harold Anthony Marler of Laurens; one daughter, Magen Elizabeth Rice of the home; one brother, William C. Marler of Laurens; three grandchildren, Jacobi Marler and Kolden Spearman both of Georgia and Kaylee Sutherland of Laurens.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Mar. 30th at 4:00 p.m. in the Bellview Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home of Laurens.
