Robert (Bobby) Simmons

Robert (Bobby) Simmons, age 60, of 659 Barrel Stave Rd. died Friday, August 18th at his home.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late Robert Lewis Simmons, Sr. and the late Venoree Hames Simmons.
Mr. Simmons was employed with Clinton True Value Hardware and was the former owner of Simmons Car Wash. He was retired from the SC National Guard and was a member of the Open Arms Ministry Church.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Cooper Simmons of the home; two daughters, Tammy Simmons of Cross Hill and Jeanny Simmons Long of Clinton; a brother, Jerry Simmons of Clinton; a sister, Barbara Jean Wicker of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Robby, Chris and Kayla Long.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Aug. 21st at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
