Robert H. Mitchum

Robert H. Mitchum age 64, of 138 E. Peninsula Drive, Laurens, went home to be with his Heavenly Father, Wednesday, September 17, 2008. He was born in Winfield, AL and was the son of the late Robert and Robbie Mitchum of Winfield, AL.
Mr. Mitchum worked at several businesses in the upstate and recently at Swift Transportation. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Simpsonville.
He is survived by his wife, Lois of the home; six daughters, Tana and Stephen Fuller, Terra Mitchum, Melissa Horn, Michelle Vasquez, Kathy and James Esterby, and Kristen and Adam Scribner; a brother, Jerry and Ann Mitchum; nine grandchildren; an aunt, Annie Perry and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Sept. 21st at 2:00 p.m. in the Miles Funeral Home Chapel in Winfield, AL with interment in the Fayette Memorial Gardens in Fayette, AL.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Miles Funeral Home in Winfield, AL.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27th at 4:00 p.m. in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Simpsonville, S.C.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
