Robert M. Starnes, Sr.

Robert M. Starnes, Sr., age 67 of 28965 Hwy 76, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010 in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Laurens and was a son of the late John C. and Pearl Vandiver Starnes.
He was retired from Whitten Center.
Surviving are his wife, Debora Dees Starnes of the home, one son, Robert M. Starnes, Jr. of Laurens and a brother, Jerry Walter Starnes of Kinards.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Aug. 5th at 11:00 a.m. in Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home of Clinton.
