Robert Marshall "Marty" Barnes

Robert Marshall “Marty” Barnes age 61 of 10 Hammett St., passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.
He was born in Clinton, SC and was a son of the late Ralph and Sybil Greene Barnes.
He worked most of his life in construction and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Surviving are her his wife, Debbie Bible Barnes of the home; two daughters, Brandi Barnes of Laurens and her children, Raven Michelle Edge, Seth Cantrell Edge, and Hunter Dale Edge, and Renee Tucker of Clinton and her children, Brittany Nicole Boyd, Julie Ann Boyd and Christopher David Boyd; a son-in-law, Brandon Dale Edge; a lifelong friend, J.C. Hastings of Laurens; a sister-in-law, Linda Pate of Joanna; his nephews, Frankie Stockman and Ricky Boyce; a niece, Samantha Lynn Boyce; and a special friend, Geraldine Dunaway and his dog, Ginger.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at God’s Grace Ministries by Rev. Harry Leon Speaks.
