Romola Tinsley Dunlap, age 94 of 409 Laurens Street and widow of William James Dunlap, Sr., died Thursday, March 10, 2011 in the Laurens County Hospice House.
She was born in Greenville, SC and was a daughter of the late Ernest A. and Evelyn Francis Tinsley.
Mrs. Dunlap retired from Greenwood Mills, Joanna Plant and was a member of the Davidson Street Baptist Church in Clinton.
Surviving are three daughters, Judy Simmons and husband, Bobby of Joanna, Anna Simmons and husband, Wilbur of Pickens, and Candy Dunlap of Lake Wylie; a daughter-in-law, Sarah Dunlap of Joanna; two sisters, Inez Compton of Reno, Nevada, and Rae Beck of Newberry; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, William J. Dunlap, Jr.; brothers, Bill Tinsley and Jim Tinsley; and her sisters, Nell Ellis and Agnes Bowers.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Mar. 13th at 3:00 p.m. at the Davidson Street Baptist Church of Clinton with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends before the service on Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Church.
