Ronald “Ronnie” D. Brookshire, age 73, of 22 Pinehurst Lane, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.
He was born in Woodruff, SC and was a son of the late Clarence C. and Mary Rhodes Brookshire.
Mr. Brookshire was an owner and operator of Brookshire’s Garage; and a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Susan E. Brookshire of the home; his son Ronald D. Brookshire. Jr. of Matthews, NC; his daughters Karen B. Measamer of Clinton and Lisa B. Thomas of Clinton; his step-son Charles Adams of Clinton and his step-daughter Regan Snow of Clinton; his sisters Gayle Thompson of Clinton and Dolores Dillingham of Columbia; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 28th at 4:00 pm at Beaverdam Baptist Church in Mountville.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from Noon to 8 p.m. at the home of his sister, Gayle Thompson 1155 Sunset Blvd, Clinton, SC 29325.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Beaverdam Baptist Church Building Fund, 1555 Beaverdam Church Road, Mountville, SC 29370.
