Ronald Anthony "Tony" English

Ronald Anthony “Tony” English, 77, of Whitmire passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at White Oak Manor.
He was born in Whitmire and was the son of the late Robert Douglas and Ida Trammell English.
Mr. English was retired from Cone Mill, Carlisle Finishing Plant and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitmire.
He is survived by his son, Ron English (Cristy) of Whitmire; brothers, Mac English of Whitmire and Terry English of Union; a sister, Nancy Brock of Whitmire; and two grandchildren, Brandon and Hunter English.
Mr. English was predeceased by his brothers, Kenneth and David English; and his sisters, Kate Arrowood, Ruth Shields and Louise Blackwell.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel Whitmire with Interment in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1PM to 2PM at the Gray Funeral Home of Whitmire.
