Rosa Spoon, age 82, formerly of Tallwood Apartments and widow of J.L. Spoon died Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Magnolia Manor in Columbia.
She was born in Laurens County and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Spoon is survived by a son, James Lee Spoon of Greenwood; three daughters, Dorothy Skeens of Roanoke, VA, Ann Marie Whitsell of Walterboro and Ronda Gail Spoon of Greenwood; grandchildren, Violet Thompson, Danna Poff, Mandy Bowden, Gene Frierson and Christy Frierson and 9 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel.
