Rose S. Thomas

Rose S. Thomas, age 72, of 505 Rowland Drive, wife of Robert (Bob) Thomas, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was born in Clinton, SC and was the daughter of the late John Brunson Snelgrove and surviving Mary Etta Snelgrove. Rose was a graduate of Clinton High School and Draughon’s Business College. She retired as an administration secretary of fundraising at Presbyterian College after 24 years. Rose was a long time member of Springdale United Methodist Church and was a current member of Spring Church.
Surviving are two sons, Rod Thomas and wife, Nancy along with grandchildren Payne, Cameron, and Parker, as well as Ryan Thomas and wife, Belinda; a step son Randy and wife, Jennie and step grandchildren AJ and Bryce; and a brother, John Snelgrove and wife, Francis.
Rose was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Tucker.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 4:00pm, Wednesday, May 16th at the Springdale United Methodist Church followed by burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
