Roy Lee Howell

Roy Lee Howell, age 80, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at NHC of Laurens.
He was born on September 24, 1943 and was a son of the late John Major and Carrie Troutman Howell. Roy was a beloved child of God, he enjoyed listing to Christian music and watching Clemson football.
He is survived by a special niece, Karen Gillion and numerous other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas Earl Howell and Neal Howell; four sisters, Roberta Hyler, Dorothy Hill, Ruth Wicker and Mildred Howell. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, April 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Gray Funeral Home of Clinton is assisting the family with arrangements.
