Roy Blakely Wilson, age 61, son of Violet Crisp and Lowry M. Wilson, Sr., passed to his heavenly home Monday, May 9, 2011, at the Hospice of Laurens County, 1304 Springdale Drive in Clinton, SC 29325.
He was born Sept. 9, 1949, in Clinton, SC.
Surviving are one brother, Lowry M. Wilson, Jr. of Powdersville, SC and two sisters, Martha Mitchell of Bainbridge, GA., and Brenda Jamison of Charlotte, NC.
He was predeceased by his parents, and one brother, William “Bill” Wilson.
Funeral services will be held in the Brooker-Blakely All Faiths Chapel at Whitten Center on Thursday, May 12th at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Whitten Center, P. O. Box 239, Clinton, SC 29325 or Hospice of Laurens County, P. O. Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
