Roy Otho Fagan, Jr. died March 16, 2011, he was born on April 8, 1934.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Watlington Fagan; a son, Roy O. Fagan III, M.D. and his wife, Mary of Reidsville, NC and three granddaughters, Isabelle, Carolyn and Lily, who were the joys of his life.
He was a son of the late Roy and Carrie McDaniel Fagan of New Bern, NC.
Mr. Fagan was a retired Professional Engineer, he was a graduate of North Carolina State University, class of 1957 receiving a degree in Geological Engineering and in 1966 received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Laurens, was a U.S. Army veteran and was an Eagle Scout.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, Mar. 17th at 2:00 p.m. in the Greenview Cemetery in Reidsville, NC.
Memorials may be made to the Blue Ridge Council of the Boy Scouts of America, 1 Park Plaza, Greenville, SC 29607.
