Ruby Elizabeth Moore Brewington
August 28, 1927 — September 13, 2018
Ruby Elizabeth Moore Brewington, age 91, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Lamie Brewington.
She was born in O’Neal Township, SC and was the daughter of the late Parks and Masinah (Jones) Moore. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and was retired from the Greenwood Mills, Joanna.
Mrs. Brewington is survived by her two daughters, Carol Hoag (Kevin) of Mechanicsville, IA and Betty Jordan of Williamston; her four grandchildren, Jessica Jordan (West Pelzer), Chris Jordan (Williamston) Lib Butler (Whitmire), and Angie Heaton (Waterloo); and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she is predeceased by a step-daughter, Joyce Black. She was the youngest of six children, two brothers, Harley Moore and Allen Moore, her three sisters, Madeline Spoone, Janie Waters, and Ruth Griffin, all predeceased.
A Graveside Home Going Celebration will be held Monday, September 17, 2018 at 3 PM at the Calvary Cemetery in Clinton.
