Ruby White Butler, age 88, of 709 Shands Street, and widow of Leonard White Sr. and Louis Butler Jr., died Friday, June 7, 2013 at NHC of Clinton.
She was born in Clinton and was the daughter of the late Richard and Lillie Prince King.
Mrs. Butler is survived by her son, Leonard White Jr., and wife, Judy, of Greenville; her daughter, Martha Freeman, and husband, Marion, of Clinton; granddaughters, Tina Brewer (Alan), Dawn Fowler (Freddie), and Amy McAlister (Roddy); her grandson, Sam Freeman; great-granddaughters, Jessica Brewer and Felisha Fowler; great-grandson Bradlee Fowler; and great-great-grandson, Evan Fowler. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is predeceased by her son, Harvey White, her great-grandsons, Seth and Ian McAlister, and great-great-grandson, Keaton Brewer.
Private Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 8th, at 4 p.m. at Rosemont Cemetery.
A special thanks to Judy White for her loving care given to our Mother during her declining health.
The family will be at her former residence on 403 Willard Road, Clinton, SC 29325.
