Ruby Barnett Pennington

Ruby Barnett Pennington, age 83, of 4728 Hwy. 308, went peacefully to Heaven on Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
She was an avid lover of all crafts, and was also active in many clubs and organizations which included The Red Hats Society, The Needle Arts Club and was active in the Watts House Preservation.
Mrs. Pennington loved and was loved by all who knew her. She will be missed by many friends and loved ones.
She is survived by her husband, Jack T. Pennington; her son Marshall Pennington and fiancé, Pat Dunsmoor; her grandchildren, Cynthia Cooper and husband Johnny, and Glen Pennington and wife Jenni; her great-grandchildren, Mia Pennington, and Bryce, Trey and Jack Cooper; and her sister, Ruth Horton.
She was predeceased by her Father and Mother, Lee and Annie Barnett; her sister, Bertha Cooper and her brothers, James Barnett and Paul Barnett.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27th at 4:00 PM at Bellview Baptist Church with burial in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends before the service from 3 to 4 PM at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bellview Baptist Church Building Fund, 757 Bellview Church Road, Laurens SC 29360.
