Ruby Jeanette Franklin Williams, age 63, of 304A Musgrove Street, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Diamond Health and Rehab Center in Simpsonville, SC.
She was born in Clinton, SC and was a daughter of the late Willie Lee and Ruby Jewell Stephens Franklin.
Mrs. Williams was a faithful Navy wife of 20 years and a true Steel Magnolia.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years James Royce Williams of the home; her sons James Stephens Williams of Clinton and Christopher Elliott Williams of Savannah, GA; her brother Harry Franklin of Whitmire; her sisters Lois Butler of Davenport, Iowa, Brenda Clark, Ora Dell Cagle, and Janice Malone, all of Laurens; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at Lydia Mill Church of God at a later date.
