Ruby Stevens Holley, age 99 formerly of 527 Browning Ave. and the widow of Virgil Holley died Friday, February 22, 2008 at the National Health Care of Clinton.
She was born in Chesterfield County and was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Maggie Marshall Stevens.
Mrs. Holley was retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Joanna.
Mrs. Holley is survived by two sons, Charles L. Holley of Greenville and Thomas E. “Pete” Holley of Joanna; three sisters, Doris Augustine and Alice Blackburn both of Aiken, Mary Lever of North Augusta; two grandchildren, Charles A. “Chuck” Holley, Tommy Holley; two great grandchildren, Jason Patrick Holley and Julian Prather Holley.
She was predeceased by one step-son, James H. Holley, two step-daughters, Tecola Rivers, Mary Johnson; one brother, Bob Stevens.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Feb. 24th at 2:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
