Rufus Lee Wimburn

R.L. Wimburn, age 74, of 18860 Hwy 72 E. died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at his home.
He was born in Henry County, AL and was a son of the late Sam and Dellie Peterson Wimburn.
Mr. Wimburn was retired from Gate Food Stores.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda Ann Wimburn of the home; three daughters, Theresa Butler and Windy Clark both of Clinton and Linda George of Bowdon, GA; one sister, Nellie Pollard of Utah; ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Lee Wimburn, a daughter, Judy Murphy and two grandchildren, Candice and Chasity Wimburn.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, Mar. 2nd at 4:00 p.m. at the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
