Ruth Huneycutt Gilliam

Ruth Huneycutt Gilliam, age 93, widow of Ulyss Gilliam, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Whitmire and was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Rose Carpenter Huneycutt.
Mrs. Gilliam was a homemaker and seamstress, and was a member of the St. Mark Methodist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Ansel Gilliam (Sara) of Buffalo and Bob Gilliam of Greenville; her two daughter, Shelia Gilliam-Neal and Mandy Gilliam both of Greenville; her three granddaughters, her seven great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; and her niece, Barbara Bowman (Paul) of Simpsonville.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, January 16th at 2 PM at the Whitmire Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the cemetery from 1 to 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
