Ruth Rowe

Ruth Rowe, age 97, of Laurens died Thursday, June 28th in Laurens.
She was born in Boston, Massachusetts and was the daughter of the late Ernest L. Rowe and Harriett MacIntosh Rowe.
Mrs. Rowe was raised in New Rochelle, NY and Oklahoma City, OK. She graduated from Classen High School in Oklahoma City, OK.
She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 40 years of service.
Mrs. Rowe is survived by a nephew, Bill Loftin and wife Glenna of Medford, Oregon; a niece, Marilyn Sue Jones and husband William of Laurens, SC; a second cousin, Paul Wege, Jr. and wife Jackie of Lawton, OK; and several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rowe was predeceased by a sister, Doris Fahrenkopf and a brother, Ernest Rowe.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.
