Ruth Tumblin

Ruth F. Tumblin, age 72 of Clinton, and widow of Ronald F. Tumblin, passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 in the Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was a daughter of the late Mary E. Faulkner and Olin J. Faulkner, Sr.
Mrs. Ruth was the owner and operator of Honda of Laurens for over 35 years. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy.
She is survived by her daughter, Ronda Tumblin of Greenwood; Tim Simmons and John Tumblin, raised in the home; five brothers, Bobby E. Faulkner (Velma) of Clinton, Michael Faulkner (Brenda) of Harrisburg, PA, Claude E. Faulkner (Donna) of Newberry, Allen Faulkner (Judy) of Johnson City, TN, and Steve Faulkner of Laurens; four sisters, Mildred Kuykendall (Clifford) of Laurens, Linda Rogers (David) of Jacksonville, NC, Betsy Barker and Joann Dickson, both of Laurens; three grandchildren, R. Delrae Tumblin, Tyler G. Tumblin and C. Jasmine Arrowood; and three great-grandchildren, Sam, Jayce and Zachary.
Mrs. Ruth was predeceased by a son, Rodney Del Tumblin and a brother, Olin Faulkner, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Oct. 4th at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 3rd from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home at 100 Houser Circle, Clinton, SC.
