Ruth Inez Cook (Cookie) Pearson. age 46, of 432 Grant Street, died Monday, February 14, 2011 in Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Union County and was the daughter of the Linda Crayne Cook of Whitmire and the late James Albert Cook, Jr.
Mrs. Pearson was a former employee of Whitten Center and was a homemaker. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Whitmire.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Phillip Pearson of the home; a son, James Clark Cook of Whitmire; and a daughter, Linda Diane Cook of Whitmire.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19th at 1:00 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.grayfuneralhome.com .
