Ruth Mae Foster Mcginnis

Ruth F. McGinnis, age 92 formerly of 117 Milling St., died Tuesday, May 30th in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Union and was a daughter of the late Charlie and Martha Childress Foster.
She was retired from Clinton Mills and was of the Church of God Faith and a member of the Old Timers Club.
Surviving are one son, Spencer “Lucky” McGinnis of Simpsonville; three daughters, Juanita Merideth and Roberta Merideth both of Waterloo and Jessie M. (Jet) Smith of Clinton; one daughter-in-law, Betty McGinnis of Chester, 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 22 great-great- grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, George F. McGinnis, two brothers, John Henry Foster and Walt Foster, two grandsons, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 1st at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home in Clinton.
