Samuel Lynn Lambert, age 62, of 117 Woodrow Street passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
He was born in Clinton, SC and was the son of the late Odell and Elise Tucker Lambert.
Mr. Lambert worked in the textiles mills and did carpentry, he also was of the Assembly of God Pentecostal Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis G. Lambert of the home; his daughters, Samantha Lambert and Buffy Pitts; his sons, Christopher Boggs and Eric Williamson; his brothers, Richard, David, Roger, and Bruce Lambert; his sister, Pamela Threatt; his fifteen grandchildren, Maliyah McGowan, Taliyah McGowan, Anthony McGowan, Jr., Macalah McGowan, Amy Philson, Justin Roddy, Paul Pitts, Brittany Roddy, Ashley Hernandez, Cody Armstrong, Makenzie Boggs, Logan Boggs, Brooklynn Williamson, Makennah Williamson; and three great-grandchildren, Lucas Pitts, Aubry Hernandez, Sophia Hernandez.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his stepson, Richard Bryan Gillian, his sister, Robbie Birchmore, and a grandson, Tyler Pitts.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 3 PM the Full Gospel Assembly of God in Clinton. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Samantha Lambert, 524 Fleming Street, Laurens, SC 29360.
The family would like to give a special thanks to, Marie Raines, Ricky Lewis, Diane Johnson, and Quameshia Brown who were faithful friends and comfort during Samuel’s illness.
