Samuel J. Wilson

Samuel J. Wilson, age 73, of The Royal Highland Community of Leesburg, FL and originally from Clinton SC passed away Sunday May 24 2015 in Leesburg, FL He graduated from Clinton High School in Clinton, SC in 1960 and after High School Samuel joined the US Army and served in the 101st Airbourne Division. After his Military service Sam operated several businesses in the Clinton area, including Western Auto and The Palmetto Bowling Center. Recently he was on several Billiards teams at The Royal Highlands in Leesburg, FL.

He is survived by his wife Antoinette (Toni) Lott Wilson, his 3 daughters Christy W. Craig, Donna W. Cathcart and Erica W. Sanza. 10 Grandchildren Seth Ryan Wilson, Jennifer C. Garrett, Catherine Hershman, Kyle Wilson, Shannon Craig, Kevin Freeman, Taylor Wilson, Samantha Craig, Payton Sanza and Austin Sanza. 6 Great Grandchildren Michael, Lilly, Vincent, Liam, Hunter and Jaxon. 5 sisters Vera Blackwell, Bea Harris, Dot Medlin, Gerri Johnson and Bobbi Martin.

Previously deceased family members are his Son Seth Wilson, 2 Sisters Margaret Setzer, Carolyn Cooke and 5 brothers James Wilson, Johnny Wilson, Roy Wilson, Walt Wilson and Junior Wilson.

Family will be receiving guests Tuesday night between 7:00 and 9:00 PM at the residence of Dot and Joe Medlin in Clinton, SC at 882 Sunset Blvd.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday May 27th at 10:00 AM at Bellview Baptist Church in Laurens, SC
