Sandra Jean Peay

Sandra Jean Peay, age 70, 314 Central Avenue, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Newberry Hospital.
She was born in Whitmire and was the daughter of the late Davis and Doris Peay.
Ms. Peay was a member of Heritage Wesleyan Church.
Sandra loved her family and friends. She had a contagious laugh that would light up the room. Sandra loved her nieces and nephews as her own. Spending time with her family and friends and talking to them on the phone gave her such joy. She was an amazing, sweet and kind person who loved her Lord and Savior with all her heart. She missed her mother, father, brother and sister, and now they are reunited and strolling down the streets of Heaven.
She is survived by her nieces, Paula P. Dominick (Bobby) of Whitmire, Lynn Lewis (Robin Cannon) of Union, Debbie Ellis of Belmont, NC and Pam Cromer (Andy) of Newberry; her nephews, Carl Lewis of Valley, AL and Ronald Lewis of Newberry; numerous great nieces and nephews; and her wonderful friend, Dean Sanders of Whitmire.
She was predeceased by her brother, Butler “Butch” Peay and her sister, Juanita “Nita” Lewis.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17th at 3 PM at Heritage Wesleyan Church with burial in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends before the service, from 2 to 3 PM at the Church.
