Sara Coggins Bryson

Sara Coggins Bryson, age 90, of Clinton, SC, widow of Robert Bryson, passed away, Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the Presbyterian Communities of SC- Clinton.
Born August 2, 1933 in Spartanburg County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Charley and Irene McCarley Coggins. She worked at Whitten Center as a teacher, and later retired from Bailey Bank. Mrs. Bryson was a devoted member of Clinton First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Bryson of Laurens, and Stanley Bryson (Cheryl) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Chrissy Cruickshanks (Alex), Stevie Bryson (Ruby), Cathy Wolford (Steven), and Heath Bryson (Jennifer); and her five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Vickie Bryson.
Private Services will be held at Pinelawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
