Sara Garrett Mitchell

Sara Garrett Mitchell age 87, Princeton Rd. and widow of W. Horace Mitchell passed away Saturday, Dec. 28th, 2013 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Laurens and was a daughter of the late Carl and Effie Lee Sprouse Garrett.
Mrs. Mitchell was retired from G.E. and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Laurens.
Surviving are her daughter, Myra Lynch Vance and son-in-law, Paul Rossi; one brother, Carl Garrett; two sisters, Kathryn Simmons and husband, Bob and Carolyn Madden and husband, Hugh.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a sister, Edna Spencer.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Dec. 30th at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Phil Hall with burial at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends the day of the service from 2 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
