Sara Alice Neighbors

Sara Alice Neighbors, age 91 died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was born in Laurens County and was a daughter of the late Robert Pressie and Lila Jacks Neighbors.
Miss Neighbors retired after 42 years of service as Executive Secretary for J. P Stevens Company in Greenville and was a member of the Hurricane Baptist Church for 78 years and was the oldest member of the church.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and is survived by five nieces and 3 nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, James Dial Neighbors and Bobby Neighbors and a sister, Evelyn N. Bowden.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, Jan. 23rd at 3:00 p.m. in the Hurricane Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends before the service in the family life center of the church from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
