Sarah Jane Moody

Sarah Jane Moody, age 67, of 842 Leesville Church Road, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late CD Benjamin, Jr., and Rachel Holtzclaw Benjamin. She was retired from the Music Department at Presbyterian College and was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and her family was the most important thing to her.
Mrs. Moody is survived by her husband, Brent Moody of the home; her son, Ben Moody (Jane) of Clinton; her daughter, Lou Pitts (Jeff) of Clinton; her ten grandchildren, Brent Moody, Benjamin McElrath (Shelby), Kayla Tinsley (Justin), Liz Gioia (Josh), Brandon Pitts, Kendell Pitts, J.T. Pitts, Cameron Tucker (Kellie), Alexander Tucker, and Andreanna Tucker; and her nine great-grandchildren, Charlie McElrath, Kyleigh Tinsley, Lynleigh Tinsley, Sophia Gioia, Matthew Gioia, Brooklyn Lawson, Addison Tucker, Brayden Tucker, and Emma Tucker.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1 PM at Bellview Baptist Church, the family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bellview Baptist Church Building Fund.
