Sarah Perkins Hill

Sarah Perkins Hill, age 92, of 2016 Stagecoach Rd. and widow of Raymond C. Hill died Tuesday, Jan. 6th at the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Connelly Springs, NC and was a daughter of the late Richard Cleveland and Maude Angeline Perkins
Mrs. Hill was a former school teacher, teaching in the North Carolina school systems for thirteen years before her marriage. She was a homemaker and came out of retirement to teach one year at Faith Christian School in Laurens. She was a member and former pianist of the Leesville Southern Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Calvin Hill and John Charles Hill both of Laurens, two daughters, Sarah Frances Pigott of Fairfax, VA and Margaret Angelyn Hopkins of Orangeburg, SC and nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 9th at 2:00 p.m. in the L:eesville Southern Methodist Church with burial in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
