Scotty Lee Ricketts, age 23, of 205 Rutledge Street, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014.
He was born in Anderson and was a son of Sharon James and Christopher Ricketts.
Mr. Ricketts worked at Davis Construction.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Levi Lee Ricketts; his grandmothers’ Paula “Pig” Smitherman of Clinton, Glenda Whitt (Arthur) of Anderson; his grandfather Marshall Ricketts (Judy); his step-grandmother Judy Phillips; his brothers Adam and Joseph Ricketts both of Anderson; his sisters Crystal Galloway of Anderson, Samantha Harris of Newberry, Christina Fredricks and Haley Ricketts of Anderson; his aunts Lynn Dalton of Clinton, Tina Partian of Anderson and Ashley Ricketts of Belton; his uncles Ray Phillips of Latta, Frank Phillips of Spartanburg, Heath Ginn of Lexington, Brandon Phillips of Anderson, Jimmy Phillips of Easley, Robert “Fred” Beane of Cross Hill and Craig Ricketts of Anderson; his nieces Summer Ricketts and Amber Galloway; his nephews Bentley Fredricks, Kellan Gates, Junior Harris and Cody Galloway.
He was predeceased by his aunt Ann Jonas and his grandfather George Phillips.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 10th at 6:00 p.m. at New Horizon Freewill Church. The family will be at 844 Brook Road, Clinton.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. at the church.
