Shelby Moore Messer

Shelby Moore Messer, age 80, of 3953 Watts Bridge Road, widow Kenneth Messer, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Woodruff, SC and was a daughter of the late Willie and Maudie Rhoades Moore.
Mrs. Messer was retired from Woven Electronics and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cross Hill.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Messer of Cross Hill; her daughter, Sharon Adams of Cross Hill; her one sister; and her five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is predeceased by her son, Kenneth Messer, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 12 to 1 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to White Oak Manor Residents Activities, 2555 Kinard Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
