Stanley E. Axson

Stanley E. Axson, age 45, of 104 Jewel Lane, died Friday, June 1, 2007 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.
He was born in Orangeburg, SC and was the son of the late Charlie Lee and Evelyn Belue Axson.
Mr. Axson worked in the paper industry and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his significant other, Jaylene Smith of Clinton; four brothers, Tony Axson of Bamberg, Charles Axson of Laurens, Donnie Axson of Orangeburg and Clay McGee of Gray Court; two sisters, Charlene Axson of Virginia, and Dora Gordon of Bamberg; and a God Son, Christian Lee Bridges Hudson of Orangeburg.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 4th at 1:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Laurens with interment in Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 3rd from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Laurens.
