Stephen Lee Potts

Stephen Lee Potts, age 45, of Newberry, SC, went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2016, following a brief illness.
He was the son of Jim and Susan Potts of Clinton, and his mother, the late Elaine Polk Potts.
Lee was a graduate of Thornwell Schools and Clemson University, where he majored in Forestry and Wildlife Management. He was a devoted Clemson Tiger fan and loved the outdoors, where he spent as much time as possible enjoying nature.
In addition to his parents, Lee is also survived by his very best friend, Denise Polifrone and a brother, Jay (Tara) of Conyers, Ga.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9th at 3:30 PM at Westminister Presbyterian Church of Clinton.
The family will receive friends the evening before, Friday, April 8th from 6 to 8 PM at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stephen Lee Potts Scholarship Fund, C/O Clemson University Foundation, PO Box 1889, Clemson, SC 29633.
