He was born March 3, 1963 in Warren, OH, and was a son of Linda Conley Swiger of Newton Falls, OH, and the late Clifton Clark Swiger.
Steve was employed with Contract Lumber in Clinton, SC.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Nikki Townsend (Rhapsody) of Orlando, FL; his son, Cody Swiger (Maredith) of Houston, TX; his stepdaughter, Amber Nash; his grandchildren, Jayla Nash, Ezekiel Townsend, Jaiyana Townsend, Zion Townsend; step-grandchildren, Savannah Nash, Landon Sexton, and Kay Kay Sexton; his brothers, Robert Swiger of Simpsonville, SC, and Kevin Swiger of Orlando, FL; and his girlfriend, Susan Sparkman of Joanna, SC; and her two sons, Allen Campbell of Joanna, SC and Gary Campbell (Ann Medlin) of Gastonia, NC.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Lee Swiger.
