Sue Land Monahan
Sue Land Monahan, 64, widow of Robert “Bob” Monahan, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 25th peacefully in her home after a long battle with cancer.
Sue was born in Louisville, KY and was the daughter of Eugene Land of Bowling Green, KY (Lavelle Land) and the Late Lillian Land.
Sue retired from the Clinton school system as a teacher’s aide and enjoyed her many years working with the children. Sue was such a people person and delighted in her neighborhood and all the people around her. She enjoyed the theatre and loved to travel. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Sue is survived by her daughter, Amy Monahan of Clinton, her mother-in-law, Harriet Monahan of Clinton, her brothers, Larry Land (Renee Land) and David Land of KY, James Land of CA, her sister, Lisa Forrest of FL and 2 nieces, a nephew, a great niece and a great nephew.
Visitation will be held at Gray Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
Funeral services will be held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church at 1:00 p.m. on Friday with interment at Rosemont Cemetery.
