Susan Elaine Bryant "Flo"

Susan Elaine Bryant “Flo”, age 66, of Whitmire, SC, passed away, Friday, August 2, 2024 at her home.
Born August 7, 1957 in Whitmire, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Ernest Lee and Juanita Ruth Wallen Corder. Flo was a former employee of Renfro, but her true passion for cooking led her to many special places such as, Thomas's, Pearl's Cafe, and the Whitmire Truck Stop. She was affectionately known as Nanny Flo, Aunt Flo, or simply "Flo". Flo enjoyed attending Grace Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Corder (Debra) of Laurens, Brian Steele (Susan Overton) of Whitmire, and William "Bit" Steele of the home; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; her sister, Jessica Bertie Lawson Walker; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Flo was preceded in death by two husbands, Connie Steele and Ray Bryant; her son, Chavis Eugene Lee; her two brothers, Roger Corder and David Corder; and her sister, Annette Bodie.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 5th from 6:00-8:00 PM at the church.
