Thelma M. Lanford Harris

Thelma M. Lanford Harris, age 82, of 120 Fair Drive passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Laurens County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Newberry County and was a daughter of the late Claude Tillman and Lily Mae Johnson Merchant.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and homemaker.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her three children, Patricia Brewington (Barry) of Moorseville, NC, Sammy B. Lanford (Roxanne) of Clinton and Gail Smith (Carl) of Fountain Inn; her five grandchildren, Veronica Trevino (Wayne), Ben Lanford (Nicky), Brooklyn Lanford, Bailey Brewington, Kevin Smith; and her eight great-grandchildren, Caine Trevino, Landon Trevino, Addison Trevino, Sullivan Lanford, Kasen Lanford, Benson Lanford, Willa Cate Lanford, Dillon Smith; and a very special niece, Josephine McCall.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husbands, Ben. J. Lanford and J. R. Harris; a brother, C.T. Merchant, Jr.; and her two sisters, Gertrude Fulmer and Irene Brewer.
Graveside Services will be conducted, Saturday, June 17 at 11 AM at Rosemont Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the service.
The family will be at their respective homes.
